Tiivistelmä
This thesis studies the Work goes happy – wellbeing at work event. Thesis covers wellbeing at work through the event, event management, communication and marketing. Theory is written during spring, summer and autumn 2016, after the event held in March.
The principal of the thesis is Work goes happy concept with Mr. Jyri Kansikas as a contact person. Thesis is written in Finnish upon his request.
Work goes happy (WGH) is wellbeing at work concept, which gives out ideas and opens communication of wellbeing at work and working life. Its aim is to bring out informative awareness on wellbeing among the field specialists and workplaces. WGH produces experiences and events. Concept’s mission is to make wellbeing at work more easy reachable and interesting topic among employers and employees. The wellbeing event is combination of fairs, speakers, lectures and open workshops.
The theoretical framework of the thesis is functional. It aims to show professional knowledge and ability of wellbeing at work itself and event management. The functional part consist of the WGH wellbeing at work event itself, project documentation and evaluation. Functional thesis is development of working life, it improves and rationalizes the well-being at work event. This thesis may be an excellent continue, for example, to another the-sis project, which would deal with instructing the organization of the event and the event plan.
Based on thesis results and findings, Work goes happy wellbeing at work event is on the way toward productization. A good product takes you far. Productization of service and event are more challenging than the actual goods. With a good planning and allocation of sources it is manageable. The future target is to make the event an excellent, long lasting product with high marketing and sales value. The event should correspond to the professionals, employees and employers needs in today's and in future’s wellbeing.
