This thesis focuses on how to develop and improve the event TekNatur. TekNatur is a knowledge contest for secondary and high school students that each year has been organized since 1993. Main purpose of this work is that by participating in the planning and execution of the event; arrive at solutions that can make it more attractive in the future, both for participants and visitors but also for those involved in the planning process. Since the target audience for the event is teenagers must whole be so considered and adapted to the appeals and raises a curiosity in them. The basis for the development of the event lies in the work of theoretical reference points, and the writer's own observations. TekNaturs planning and implementation have been treated in this work as a project, where the phases planning, implementation, and reflective been the focus. Everything from the date of the visitor learns about the event until she goes home were taken into account in planning. With the help of Rutherford's theory regarding the six dimensions (anticipation, arrival, atmosphere, appetite, activity and amenities) should be incorporated in an event for the guest to get a good overall experience, the work has been given a broad theoretical base. The event was conducted without major complications with very satisfied participants. Discussion and concrete development proposals presented at the end of the work, which will hopefully be taken into account by future TekNatur planners.
