This thesis is a study on different distribution methods that companies may make use of in their foreign trade. The report is a case study about the Swedish distribu-tion, but the conclusions that are presented on the different distribution methods can be applied to almost any market in the world. The purpose of this thesis is to give the reader an insight over how the logistics in the distribution chain influences the company and how one can imply these meth-ods to increase their delivery service. In the theoretical part the reader will get a general picture over logistics and what role the different flows have in logistics. The reader will get an insight into the different components in the distribution chain as well as the time focus, warehous-ing activities and the costs for these. The results from the qualitative study will be presented in the empirical part. This study was done by interviews and surveys that were answered by 7 correspond-ents within 3 different are of activities. There has been made different modules out of the research results which describe different distribution methods which can be implemented in companies.
