Tiivistelmä
The objective of the thesis was to develop my red teaming skills. The thesis has been written in diary form and covers ten weeks of reporting. The diary provides a clear picture of the duties during the weeks and in the analysis, I give recommendations based on theory if any. The duties during the ten weeks period varied from intern training programs to triaging bug bounty findings.
The thesis has provided the writer deeper understanding of different topics addressed in the thesis which will then increase the performance. This thesis was done for one of the telecommunications providers in the Middle East and gives a clear image of tasks that were done by the red team during the 10 weeks period. The theory in the thesis is quite diverse as the duties change almost weekly and new challenges are faced. There is a good example that is the development of a training program for the interns that will join the red team twice a year for two weeks each. The training program will guarantee that the interns will have structured training for the two weeks period and after completing the program will have extensive knowledge about red teaming. The diary-based thesis has provided lots of information and experience related to diverse challenges during the 10 weeks period. The diary also gives a good foundation to continue the personal development on topics that were identified during the thesis.
