Decision paralysis, a prevalent phenomenon in the media industry, is characterized by in-dividuals facing difficulties in making effective decisions due to the abundance of options, overwhelming information, and the complexity of decision-making. This research aims to delve into the increasing occurrence of decision paralysis in the media landscape, comprehensively understand its causes and consequences, and propose practical solutions utilizing Wolfswinkel et al.'s Grounded Theory as a guiding framework. By leveraging this theoretical approach, media practitioners can effectively navigate and overcome decision paralysis amidst the challenges posed by information overload. The study also emphasizes the crucial role of data in the decision-making process, highlighting its significance in enabling media companies to make informed choices, adapt to the dynamic industry, and maintain a competitive edge.
