As technology continues to advance, new approaches are developed to solve real-world problems. This thesis aims to research the modern web development architecture called Jamstack, exploring its strengths and limitations to e- commerce.
To support this research, an e-commerce website was built with Jamstack, explaining in detail each technology used as well as showing the contrast between them and other common technologies.
The result is satisfactory as it fulfills all the requirements of an e-commerce site. In addition, it makes use of all the benefits Jamstack offers to achieve a more performant, more secure, and more scalable web application.
