Tiivistelmä
When people search for information on studying abroad, the sheer volume of
available information can be overwhelming. In addition, relying on popular search
engines such as Google can often result in a limited pool of results because they
tend to prioritize the most commonly accessed.
The goal of the thesis was to create a website just for the education community
where students could choose the best school for their needs and schools can
also use student profiles as one of their assessment criteria. This will help
students save time and not miss information or choices. Furthermore, school
systems can rely on this as a platform website for introducing and promoting their
school to students.
This thesis described the basics of Node.js, React.js, HTML, CSS, and
MongoDB. Moreover, the thesis illustrated how each component of the website
was implemented.
In the end, there were some ideas to improve the website so that it would be
better in the future.
