Air logistics service providers play an important role as third-party logistics supporters in the aviation industry. Their role is even more crucial in air logistics enterprises. These enterprises face urgent issues such as how to objectively evaluate logistics service providers, how to choose them correctly, how to manage them scientifically, and how to truly achieve a balance between the best service and lowest cost in air logistics. Discussion and research on these issues are the purpose of this paper. In this paper, key factors affecting the selection of third-party logistics service providers are screened from many factors affecting enterprise. Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to establish selection criteria, and a quantitative model using the entropy weight coefficient method is employed. Cold chain logistics mainly targets fresh, perishable products, medical drugs, and processed ready-to-eat foods. Compared with general product logistics, cold chain logistics requires higher logistics technology and system optimization, and the investment cost of cold chain basic equipment and facilities is higher. This makes many small and medium-sized enterprises deterred. Therefore, choosing a cold chain service provider to complete the relevant business can be more efficient for airlines. Cold chain logistics in China is in a stage of rapid growth. With the rapid growth of the cold chain product trading market, many aviation enterprises have laid out in the cold chain logistics field.
